These chicken pretzel sliders are a very convenient and tasty way to satisfy your hunger. I’ve always been a fan of King’s Hawaiian products so I was excited to try these pretzel sliders! It has the same sweetness that the rolls have with the exception of the added salt. The combination of sweet and salty worked perfectly when paired with the fried chicken and vegetables.
It is true what they say- these are so irresistible that I ate ‘em right out the bag! Hence why I only made 8 sliders versus the 9. This is perfect for lunch or as a social gathering type of meal (just make sure to purchase more than 1 bag). You can pair this with French fries or chips, whichever you prefer.

1/2 lb of a chicken breast
Sliced cheese, cut into triangles
Sliced tomatoes
Lettuce
Mayo
Ketchup
All-purpose flour
- Seasoning for chicken:
1 tsp of olive oil
1 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of onion powder
1/4 tsp of paprika
1/4 tsp of Kick ‘N Chicken seasoning
1/8 tsp of black pepper
- Seasoning for flour:
1/2 cup of flour
1/4 tsp of sugar
1/4 tsp of kosher salt
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
1/4 tsp of parsley flakes
Sprinkle of coarse black pepper
Directions
- Start with slicing the breasts into 8 smaller parts (I only used 8 sliders) then season the chicken with olive oil, sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper and Kick’N Chicken. Mix well and set aside for marination.
- Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat, filled 1/4 of the way with vegetable oil.
- While the oil is heating up, prepare the vegetables.
- Then prepare the flour by adding sugar, salt, garlic powder, parsley flakes and black pepper. Mix well.
- After about 10 mins of preheating the oil, dip the chicken in the flour then carefully place into oil.
- Cook for 3 – 4 mins on each side, until thoroughly cooked. Remove from oil and place onto a basket lined with paper towels to rid excess oil.
- Butter your pretzel buns and place into toaster (lower setting to ensure buns don’t burn).
- Now it’s time to serve- start with the lettuce on the bottom, then tomato, chicken and cheese. Squirt mayo and ketchup (or whatever condiments you desire) and spread then top it off with the remaining bun. Enjoy!
Notes
- Normally, I would add avocados but I didn’t have any ripe ones
- Pair sliders with French fries or chips
