Ingredients

  • Waffle mix (Krusteaz Light & Crispy Belgium)

  • Strawberries

  • Blueberries

  • Syrup

  • Whipped cream

  • Powdered sugar

  • For flour mixture:
  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 cups of flour

  • 1 1/3 cup of milk

  • 1/3 cup of oil

  • 3 tbsp of sugar

  • 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

Directions

  • Prepare the batter: add flour to large mixing bowl, remove any clumps.
  • Then add in the milk, vegetable oil, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Let the batter rest for at least 10 mins (30 mins preferably) before cooking to allow thickening which in turn will result in fluffier waffles.
  • This is a good time to prep the fruits while the batter is resting.
  • Plug waffle maker in and allow to preheat for 2 mins. Spray with non-stick cooking oil (butter flavored).
  • Scoop 1/3 cup of batter and pour evenly into waffle maker starting from the center then pour another 1/3 cup of batter towards the center ensuring that it’s evenly distributed.
  • Close the lid and cook for a total of 1 min and 45 secs. Make sure to flip halfway through at 52.5 seconds.
  • Remove from waffle maker and repeat until batter is gone.
  • Top waffles with fruits then drizzle with syrup and sprinkle powdered sugar all over. Add whip cream to the center of the waffles and ENJOY!
