Easy Crispy Cambodian Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

These oven-baked chicken wings are my go to recipe when I’m craving chicken in a healthy, non-fried way. The Cambodian style seasoning really make these wings a hit, not just for adults but my toddler as well! We can’t help the fact that we love some good chicken over here butt he fact of the matter is, you shouldn’t eat fried foods excessively.

The taste and texture may be good but it just isn’t the best thing for you. An excessive amount of fried food intake can lead to clogged arteries, an increase risk in developing heart disease, obesity and feelings of bloatedness, who wants that?!

With my health is wealth initiative, I try to limit my weekly intake of fried foods to once or twice a week. I find alternatives for fried foods that are equally as tasty and crispy. For instance, my Baked Tilapia recipe instead of the Easy Fried Fish. As with many other things in life, we can put in more effort to find healthier alternatives.

At the end of the day, life is truly about balance. So balance the amount of healthy foods with the not so healthy while also satisfying your taste buds. Bon appetit!
